Dance Entry Video Recording Guidelines
Landscape
All videos must be shot in landscape mode.
Audio Markers
The music provided has an audio count down that needs to be included in your video submission and your recording should continue through the music fade and your bows just like in live competition.
No video editing allowed
Your recording should be one continuous recording with no additional camera angles edited in. You can use a tripod but it is recommended to have someone operate the camera to make sure the dancers in progressive dances.
Video Processing
You will receive a link to the hub for uploading videos. Submissions will be accepted March 26 to April 11, 2021.
- Videos will be reviewed for landscape mode, correct dance. correct music and overall quality.
- You will be notified if your submissions needs re-recorded or if we did not receive a dance you registered for.
Event Scheduling
The event program will contain the timed schedule for the Streaming Weekend. Check out our great sponsors as well!
Videos will be synced by heat so all the videos start and stop at the same time.
There will be a max of 5 competitors per heat and the bib numbers will be displayed on the screen.
You will be contacted if your video does not meet quality standards for a new video file.
